Well, life has been crazy the past couple of weeks! It's been amazingly fun, though. Let's see, first of all, I went to see the new Harry Potter movie. Everyone has asked me what I thought and my answer has been the same every time: they didn't include a lot of things that were in the book. Yes, I was disappointed with it, but it was a good movie. Had I not read the books, like many of my friends, I'm sure I would've thought that it was the best Harry Potter movie, but I'm sorry, I just cannot say it. I'm actually in the process of reading the 6th book for the 3rd time now, because the last time I read it was when it first came out about 576 years ago.
Summer is almost over. Where has it gone!? It doesn't seem like I have done very much, but as I look back I find that I have. Let's recap my summer:
-I took a road trip with Tanille and Brittany to California.
-I went to Missouri for a week and a half and visited the family
-I changed my major from flute performance to piano performance
-I am now single........
-I went hiking to a waterfall
-I played gatorball for the first time
-I went to 7 Peaks water park
-I went camping with Carlene, Steve, and Kaitlin
-I got a bike
-I made a lot of new friends
-I went to the temple for the first time in about 4 years
-I watched the Manti Pageant
-I bought a new flute
That's about everything I can think of right now. I'm sure there were a ton of other things that I did, but those were the highlights. I'd say that sums it up. Farewell until something else exciting happens.

Crazy Fun!
Wow have I had a crazy weekend! It started out on Thursday when me and Tanille went shopping for dresses for Meredith's bridal shower. That was hilarious. It was good to have some sister bonding time. We had tons of fun. We actually did shop for a fluffy dress, but we had no luck so we ended up walking into this "Unique Gifts" store and bought some kimonos. We went to another store and tried them on and Tanille ended up going back to the store to exchange sizes and while she was changing, I wandered around the store and found umbrellas and the wooden block shoes that geishas wear. How fun is that!? It was pretty funny. And we found little purses that matched our dresses. So then we went to random stores and got some chopsticks for our hair and a flower to attach to them and some white makeup for our faces and red lipstick. So we dressed up like geishas and went to the tea party (the bridal shower). It was so funny! We had a blast. After the bridal shower (which was my first one...), we went to Steve's birthday party. Saturday was pretty boring...but in the evening, I went to Mickell's dance recital. Oh geez. Talk about...torture. Sitting through the entire show was so hard. Me and Tanille were just laughing through the whole thing because it was just hilarious. Sunday was my second week in my new ward. I got called as the Relief Society pianist. I met 5 guys in sacrament meeting which was funny. After church I went to Carlene and Steve's for dinner. After that, I came back for ward prayer, at which I met a ton of people. After ward prayer, I was invited to a birthday party. That was a ton of fun! I met a thousand more people there. At the party, I got invited to an apartment for a movie...and there were about 15 people there. That was also fun, but I left right as the movie started because I went to hang out with Jason. Well, there was my rundown of the weekend. It was pretty fun and exciting!

California
California was awesome! I had lots of fun at Disneyland, Hollywood, and Carmen and Michael's house! Too bad it was really cold though. That stunk a lot. We didn't get to sit on the beach like we were hoping we could. Oh well!

Gah!
Well then. The past week has been a lot of jolly good fun. I'm loving life right now, trying to be as optimistic as I can...because, well...the end of the semester is near and I can see it in the distance! Only a week and a half left!!! And only 2 1/2 weeks until California!! I'm so excited. Anyway, enough about the future...let's talk about the past. Actually, I'm sitting here trying to figure out something exciting that's happened in the past week or so and I really can't think of much. Cheme' came to visit this weekend, so I spent some time at Carlene and Steve's house. That was fun. I told myself the other day that I would try not to be on the computer as much as I always am...because well, let's face it--I'm pretty much on here all day every day. So, I'm going to find things to do like start riding a bike or painting or reading or something. I like the painting idea. During the summer, I think that's what I'll do. That should be fun. I had my flute recital on Friday. I didn't do the best, but it was good. I'm just here trying to be happy before finals roll around.
